Black spruce is a sun-loving conifer known for its aromatic deep-green / blue-green needles. It has great wildlife value nesting birds and feeding twigs, leaves and seeds to many different species. Black spruce has long wood fibers, so it is often used for pulpwood when producing high-quality papers.
