About the Event

Join us Wednesday, June 10 at 10:30 a.m. for a Reptile & Amphibian Adventure led by Chippewa Watershed Conservancy’s Autumn Baker and MCD staff! Learn how to find, identify, and safely handle the reptiles and amphibians of the Comden-Towle Model Forest. We will walk the trails rain or shine, so please dress for the weather!

We will be practicing ethical herping! Herping is the act of searching for reptiles and amphibians, also known as herps, in their natural habitat. Ethical herping involves searching and handling herps with care in a way that reduces changes to their habitat. This may include limited hands-on-interaction.

Limited spots available.
