About the Event

Join us on Wednesday, October 29 for a free Brush Management & Invasive Species Treatment Workshop! This workshop will be led in partnership with NRCS and the Kent Strike Team, and will cover several different techniques that can help you manage woody invasive species on your property. Some of the applications that will be covered include cut-stump, hack & squirt and foliar & basal bark. Practices recommended by NRCS for CSP and EQIP programs will also be covered. This event starts at 2 p.m. outside of the MCD office. Please come dressed for the weather. If it rains, this event will be held on Thursday, October 30.
