About the Event

Our District Forester will talk about the plant species present at Black Field, pointing out how to identify and manage invasives and natives, as well care techniques for trees and shrubs. Species to plant based on different planting goals will also be covered, whether that be wildlife habitat, erosion control, shade, etc.


Attendees will meet at the Flat River Community Library's front entrance and then walk across the street to Black Field.
