Virginia mountain mint is a perennial in the mint family that blooms clusters of small, white flowers with purple spots from mid to late summer. Virginia mountain mint can be found in wet prairies and along stream edges growing at a medium pace. Virginia mountain mint serves as a nectar source for bees and butterflies but does not experience much deer browse due to the strong minty flavor.
