White yarrow is an herbaceous perennial with an extended bloom lasting from summer to late summer or early fall. The plant’s scientific name comes from the Latin term, “a thousand leaves.” These leaves have been used by Native Americans to cure stomach issues, treat infected wounds, and repel mosquitos.
