Montcalm Conservation District

Mark is a 1977 graduate of Lansing Community College with an Associates Degree in Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice. He worked as a Youth Corps Supervisor with the Montcalm County Conservation District in 1983 and 1984 before hiring with the Montcalm County Sheriffs Office in 1985. Mark served the citizens of Montcalm County for 31 years before retiring in 2015.

Mark was elected to the District board in 2014 and became Treasurer of the Board in 2016. Mark is also the Chairperson of the county's Solid Waste Committee. He is active with Pheasants Forever and Habitat Organization in Montcalm County as well as an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman.
