False Sunflower (3" pot)
Sun: Full-Partial, Soil: Clay-Sand-Loam, Moisture: Semi-Dry to Semi-Moist
Height: 3-5 ft, Bloom Time: June-September
False sunflower is a flowering perennial that appears to be similar to a true sunflower, but actually belongs to a different genus because of its cone shaped central disc. The false sunflower’s blooms provide nectar for pollinators and its seeds provide food for songbirds. False sunflower is tolerant of various soil conditions, but will thrive in moist, well-drained soil with plenty of sun.
