Gray dogwood is a deciduous shrub with gray bark that produces dome-shaped clusters of small, cream-colored flowers and white berries. Gray dogwood can grow well in soil that is dry, wet or nutrient poor and is a great choice for erosion control along river banks and shorelines. Gray dogwood also provides food and shelter for pollinators, birds and other wildlife, making it a great choice for a pollinator garden.
